| While the vast majority of purchases made by buyers ("Buyers") on the home-shopping
network platform on television (STAR CJ alive Channel) and website (www.starcj.com),
together referred to as 'STAR CJ alive' operated by STAR CJ Network India Pvt. Ltd. ("SCN") are trouble-free, there are instances when products delivered may have manufacturing
defect ("Defective Products") or do not conform to the order specifications ("Non-Conforming Products"). Through this STAR CJ alive Buyer Protection Policy ("Buyer Protection Policy"), SCN attempts to ensure that the interests of such Buyers are protected by invoking the remedies offered hereby. |

| • Introducing STAR CJ Alive's Buyer Protection Policy |
The objective and the scope of this Buyer Protection Policy is to ensure that the Buyers of products on STAR CJ alive have reasonably possible fair remedies as per industry norms in case the Products purchased by them are a Defective Product or a Non-Conforming Product. |
| • Return Window for Eligible Claims |
The sellers on STAR CJ alive ("Sellers") are required to and therefore do offer a 2 (two) window from the day the product is delivered to the Buyer, for return of any product which is a Defective Product or a Non-Conforming Product, subject to the other terms and condition of this Buyer Protection Policy and the specific return conditions prescribed for a specific type of product on STAR CJ alive. Claims raised after
2 (two) days after the day the product has been delivered to the Buyer may not be entertained. |
| • Resolution of Eligible Claims |
For all valid/eligible claims, the Seller will first attempt to provide a replacement. In the event the Seller is unable to provide the replacement, the Seller will provide a refund to the Buyer, without deducting any charges. |
| • Buyer eligibility and other pre conditions |
| The following are the essential pre-conditions for being eligible to avail the Remedy provided under the Buyer protection Policy:- |

Products and all accessories and freebies, if any, must necessarily be, in a new condition and UNUSED, with original packaging intact, along with the original price tags and labels. |

Products and all accessories and freebies, if any, must necessarily be returned in their original packaging along with the original invoices. |

The Product, duly packed in the original packaging, should then be placed in the protective packaging for transit used by the Seller, in which the Product was received by the Buyer, so that there is no damage of goods in transit, while return. |

| • How does STAR CJ Alive's Buyer Protection Policy work? |
| The following is the process for invoking the Remedy provided under the Buyer Protection Policy, i.e. the return of Defective Products or Non-Conforming Products:- |

For return of Defective Products or Non-Conforming Products, please call the Customer Service Team on 011-3355 5533 / 022-3355 5533 and lodge your request. |

Upon lodgment of request, the Seller shall ensure that the Defective Products / Non-Conforming Products is picked up from the Buyer within a reasonable time from the lodgment of request for return by the Buyer (Currently, the Seller's strive to get the Products picked up within 5 days in case of the Buyer located at Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Nasik, Pune, Delhi & NCR, and within 10 days in case of Buyers located at other places). |

On receipt of the returned product ("Returned Product"), the Seller shall check and inquire into Buyer's complaint of defects in the Product and satisfaction of all pre-conditions provided above. On enquiry, if - |

the request is found to be genuine and meets all pre-conditions provided above, the Seller shall proceed to send a replacement for the Returned Product. |

the request is found not to be genuine or does not meet all pre-conditions provided above, the Seller shall send back the Returned Product to the Customer, and the Buyer's request will be considered closed. In such a case, if required, the Buyer can avail after-sale services directly from the Manufacturer or the agency appointed by the Manufacturer for providing after-sales services in respect of the products. |
